Published by Devolver Digital and developed by The Red Strings Club creator Deconstructeam, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood has just scored its release date. Most exciting, it’s a lot sooner than you’d think.
The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood is a narrative game where players control a witch banished to exile on a meteor hurtling through space. Players will spend their time piecing together the narrative of the character Fortuna’s long life, seeing their days as a human and living through the mundane isolated time in the stars.
Fortuna can perform tarot readings resulting in a somewhat deck-builder game feel, with players able to craft cards with an editor and then use those on their eventual visitors, influencing how dialogue and the story will play out.
Getting a hands-on preview of the artful title back in April, I was thoroughly impressed and awaiting its release.
Now, thanks to an announcement from Devolver, we know that The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood will release on August 16th for PC and Nintendo Switch. Get very keen for an emotional, extra-terrestrial and transformative journey.
