In a clever publicity stunt from the crew at PlayStation Australia, a truck has been saved from falling by Spider-Men and their trusty webs, to celebrate today’s launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The awesome installation of this “Spectacular Save” of a truck is in Watermans Cove in Barangaroo, Sydney, portraying “a truck seemingly suspended by webs and safely stuck in a sticky situation.”
The Spectacular Save will be in place in Watermans Cove from 9AM Friday 20 October until 4PM Sunday 22 October so you can check it our for yourself; you’ll even be able to get in on the action yourself with a photo moment, as if they you have saved the truck yourself. We’re told that those checking out the site at night “may even see a surprise left behind by an iconic villain”. Cool!
“Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated PS5 games to date and an amazing addition to PlayStation’s unbeatable lineup of exclusives,” said Patrick Lagana, Director of Marketing, PlayStation Australia. “Located right on Sydney’s newest and iconic skyline at Barangaroo, The Spectacular Save installation captures the power and imagination of the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise for PS5, and shows how we can ‘Be Greater. Together.’ We look forward to welcoming people at the activation to help us celebrate the launch of what is sure to be 2023’s biggest title.”
