To commemorate the release of Sonic Superstars, SEGA has announced a competition for LEGO and Sonic the Hedgehog fans with a copy of the new game and a Nintendo Switch OLED console, along with other cool goodies, up for grabs.
This competition is inspired by Ryan “Brickman” McNaught’s life-sized Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO sculpture recently shown off at PAX Aus. To take part, participants must make their own versions of Sonic the Hedgehog out of LEGO. Builders can then submit their entries via Twitter/X, Instagram or Facebook by sharing an image of their creations and using the hashtag #myownsonicsuperstar.
The Sonic LEGO Building Challenge runs from the 17th of October up until the 19th of November 2023. Once that period has come to a close, the five most creative entries will be chosen. The winners will receive prize packs containing a copy of Sonic Superstars and a Nintendo Switch OLED console in addition to a Sonic LEGO set and a Sonic Plushie.
Whether or not you managed to check out Brickman’s giant LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog at PAX Aus this year, this is a pretty cool competition for anyone who is a fan of Sonic or has a creative flair with LEGO bricks. It will be exciting to see what kinds of creations competitors are able to come up with. Sonic Superstars releases today on PS5, PS4. Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
