Final Fantasy XIV’s Starlight Celebration is back in Eorzea

Final Fantasy XIV’s yearly Starlight Celebration returns to Eorzea! This event marks the first Starlight Celebration of the Dawntrail expansion and, until the end of December, players can undertake a limited-time Starlight Celebration themed quest chain to get some fittingly festive rewards! 

To kick off the questing, players will need to head to Old Gridania. All players above level 15 can access the event quests, even those on the free trial. In Mih Khetto’s Amphitheater, Amh Garanjy awaits, in a spot of bother. Speaking to Amh will begin the Reach for the Stalls quest and players will need to complete the objectives of both this quest and the subsequent quest, Spreading the Warmth and Cheer, before receiving any of the event rewards.

After helping serve cold workers some hot mulled wine, it’s only fair that players receive their own mug of kinderpunsch. The Starlight Kinderpunsch housing item one of the two quest rewards and sets down a cute cup of steaming hot kinderpunsch in a house or apartment. Players will also receive a second reward, the Starlight Stalls barding, which is the real star of the show. This reward lets you adorn your beloved chocobo with an adorably festive red outfit. It comes with little bells, sprigs of holly, a basket of apples and a keg of kinderpunsch. It also comes with a little mug tied to the keg for the Warrior of Light’s convenience.

Additionally, after completing the questline, players can talk to the Starlight Supplier to buy two additional new housing items. Players can buy a Starlight Mug Tower, which is simply empty Starlight Kinderpunsch cups stacked atop of each other to form a teetering pyramid, and a Festive Starlight Celebration Advertisement, which is a wall-mounted poster of the 2023 Starlight Celebration official artwork. There’s also an orchestrion roll available to buy that allows players to blast Winter’s Warm Boughs, the Starlight Celebration music, in their homes. If players still need more holiday items after this, worry not. During the event, the huge range of items from previous Final Fantasy Starlight Celebration events are available on the Online Store at discounted prices.
