The independent games studio Noodle Cat Games has just announced its premiere title, Cloudheim, a cooperative action-adventure RPG that blends fast-paced physics-based combat with a dynamic crafting system.
Cloudheim takes place in a colourful, fantastical world shattered by Ragnarok, where the gods have chosen you and your allies to bring harmony to the new world. Using your flying turtle base, Odin Shell, you will explore the diverse islands and dangerous dungeons that litter this chaotic and untamed world either alone or in a party of up to four other players.
The world is fully destructible, and the game encourages you to make full use of physics to coordinate devastating team attacks and use the environment to your advantage by increasing the damage that enemies take. The game additionally incorporates a robust visual crafting system that will allow players to create new gear, upgrade their shop on their base, and unlock new powerful abilities without having to wait in menus.
Cloudheim has been projected to release sometime in 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam.
