Tempopo, the anticipated new game from Unpacking creators and Brisbane studio Witch Beam Games is right around the corner. After dazzling us at PAX Aus back in 2022, the colourful puzzle game will be released this April.
According to info detailed by the official Tempopo Blue Sky account, there are 60 levels to play through with “additional challenges beyond.” The primary goal for Tempopo is to control the titular creature a cute pink sprite in a diorama setting not too dissimilar to Captain Toad’s Treasure Tracker. The goal is to map the route through a diorama level and reach the exit, often pushing obstacles, overcoming enemies and getting several of the Tempopo creatures to the goal at a given time. While this is happening, charming music that earworms into your brain occurs as you collect musical flowers and build a garden.
Tempopo looks to be another charming puzzle game from Witch Beam Studios and we hope its another win for Australian game development come its release on April 17th. It’s slated to release on Xbox consoles, PC and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, it’ll be a day one Game Pass launch. Stay tuned!
