Today’s PlayStation State of Play revealed a slew of up-and-coming titles, including one by the Chinese game development studio Eclipse Glow Games, titled Tides of Annihilation.
Tides of Annihilation is a single-player, narrative-based action-adventure game set in modern-day London influenced by the aesthetics of Arthurian myths and legends after it has been torn asunder by a deadly mist known as the Gray Fog.
Here, you play as Gwendolyn, the city’s sole survivor, who finds herself in possession of the mysterious ability to call upon the spectral forms of the Knights of the Round Table. Driven by revenge and the desire to save her sister, Gwendolyn travels between the shattered city of London and the mythical realm of Avalon in a quest that will alter the very fabric of reality.
Tides of Annihilation will see the player face off against a myriad of otherworldly threats both big and small across iconic London landmarks. Fight upwards of 30+ unique boss fights inspired by the lore of the Knights of the Round Table. Call upon the strength of over ten legendary heroes, each with their unique skills and abilities. And unravel the mysteries of the two worlds and the Gray Fog.
Tides of Annihilation does not have a release date as of now, but will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Steam and Epic Game Stores.
