At Fate’s End is a new action-adventure game that was announced at the Xbox Games Showcase this morning. Developed by Thunder Lotus Games, the developer behind 2020’s Spiritfarer, At Fate’s End sees you battling your estranged siblings to find out more about yourself and the fate of your family, the Hemlock Clan.
In this fight against your siblings, you will use the legendary God Sword Aesus, as well as through using tactical dialogue and psychological insight, which comes from knowledge of how they tick. You will also have to defeat the creatures that block your way, solve narrative puzzles and continue to learn about your family to have the upper hand in battle. It is up to you whether you reconcile or defeat your siblings, with your decisions determining your fate. There will also be seven swords that you will battle to obtain, possibly connected in some way to the connection between yourself and your family.
A Fate’s End will release some time in 2026 and is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
