BraveCart declares war on supermarkets in turn-based satire from Hojo Studio

Posted on June 8, 2025

Announced during Frosty Games Fest 2025, BraveCart is a turn-based puzzle satire adventure from Sydney’s Hojo Studio. In a world ruled by the mega-monoliths Alphabarn and Omegamart, you play as an abandoned shopping trolley on a mission to spark a cart-led revolution.

Equal parts absurd and adorable, BraveCart promises to blend turn-based puzzle gameplay with storytelling, striking a tone between playful parody and meaningful commentary.

Hojo Studio’s knack for building loveable characters and wildly original settings shines here in early visuals. As you roll your way through Duopolis, you’ll face consumerist chaos, meet friends and foes, and puzzle your way through a world that’s collapsing under the weight of its own packaging.

BraveCart is brought to life by the creative trio at Hojo Studio:

  • Rick Salter (Co-founder, Creative Director) — design, coding, animation, sound, and music
  • Jola Szymanska (Co-founder, Art Director) — 3D art, UI, and the studio’s signature visual charm
  • Stephanie Salter (Executive Producer & COO) — business operations and production.

With prior titles like Inflatality and The Godfeather, Hojo’s reputation for delivering quirky, personality-packed games is well established — and BraveCart looks set to be their most ambitious (and supermarket-defying) journey yet.

There’s no confirmed release date just yet, but this trolley revolution is already rolling with all the announcements and reveals from Frosty Games Fest 2025.
