Mars First Logistics launches into 1.0 this September

Posted on June 8, 2025

After two years of Early Access, the lovable rover-builder Mars First Logistics is officially rolling out of Early Access on 26 September 2025. Announced during the Frosty Games Fest 2025 presentation, this physics-based delivery game by Naarm Melbourne’s own Shape Shop is set to bring its full adventure to players on PC via Steam.

In Mars First Logistics, you design and pilot custom-built rovers across sprawling, procedurally generated Mars landscapes. Your mission is to deliver awkwardly shaped cargo of bouncing and wobbly messes to help a colony of hopeful Martians build their new home.

Over 50 mechanical parts are at your disposal to assemble your dream delivery machine. You’ll be hauling fragile glass domes or even aerodynamic tofu blocks so creativity and problem-solving are your best tools. Better yet, you don’t have to go it alone. Up to three friends can join you in online co-op to share the load and the laughs.

Each successful delivery unlocks funds and new parts, adding to your growing engineering toolkit. Plus, as the Martian colony expands with each drop-off, players will see their impact on the world in real time.

Shape Shop, based in Victoria, Australia, has been steadily building a fanbase since the game entered Early Access. Now, with the full release just around the corner, those who first picked up the game two years ago can finally return and brand-new players can try it out for the first time.
