Persona fans rejoiced at the Xbox Games Showcase with the confirmation that Persona 4 is getting a remake, titled Persona 4 Revival. The remake had been long speculated, with Persona 3 Reload releasing last year.
The remake was actually kind of spoiled a while back with some of the original English voice cast, including Yuri Lowenthal, posting about how they hadn’t been asked to reprise their roles for the remake (though Yuri has since deleted his post). Alongside the short 40-second teaser trailer, there was virtually no other information given, so we really can’t say much. It’ll be interesting to see if the remake will include the extra content included in the 2012 enhanced edition, Persona 4 Golden, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Persona 4 Revival is announced for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Xbox Cloud, PlayStation 5, and Steam, as well as being playable day one with Game Pass, but with no release date as of yet.
