Tea, Please! brings a cuppa and some calm to your mobile

One of the more relaxing highlights at Frosty Games Fest 2025 came from Gadigal Country (Sydney), where solo developer Siobhan Willoughby revealed her upcoming mobile game, Tea, Please!.

Tea, Please! is a short, 30-minute puzzle game about the quiet joys of working from home and how small moments, like making a cup of tea, can bring peace during busy or stressful times. It;s described to explore the difference between the noisy world of office life and the calm many found while working remotely during lockdowns.

This cute game has a very playful art style. Each step of the morning work-from-home wake-up and the integral tea-making process is illustrated with what looks like hand-drawn animations reminiscent of something I used to watch on ABC a few decades ago. It’s friendly and adorable.

The game is being made for mobile (iOS and Android) and features gentle puzzles, simple interactions, and a personal story. Siobhan, who also works as a designer and front-end developer, is making the game alongside her cat, Peanut, who’s credited on the website as a creative assistant.

Willougby’s game is being supported by Screen Australia’s Emerging Gamemakers Fund. Tea, Please! received funding earlier this year and we’re looking forward to playing when it finally lands.

Tea, Please! doesn’t have a release date yet, but it joins a range of game reveals, exclusive gameplay, and demos from Frosty Games Fest 2025.
