When a horror is unleashed upon a mountain hospital, you and your friends must work together to stop it. You are trapped on the mountain and can’t leave, with several horrors trying to kill you. Fortunately, there are several weapons strewn around the facility that help you defend yourself. Move around with your team to unravel the mystery and survive. Choose specialisations that give your team much-needed roles and grow as you adventure, learning new skills to give you an edge. Work together to solve puzzles and watch each other’s backs, even reviving fallen teammates if necessary.
Whisper Mountain Outbreak was one of Toge Productions’ games that they showcased at PAX last year. It was a thrilling experience where the atmosphere kept you on your toes and the puzzles left you vulnerable to enemies. There will be more specialisations to work with but also a lobby that helps you connect with players and explore the mansion. It’s always easier to go through a horror situation with allies but it also makes the game more challenging in terms of enemies.
Whisper Mountain Outbreak will have an Early Access release on August 11th this year. You can play the demo on Steam to experience some of the horror yourself.
