Strange Scaffolding, the studio behind Clickolding and Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3, has announced today that its first-ever co-op multiplayer title, Co-Op Kaiju Horror Cooking. In a case of “does what it says on the tin”, this game is about scrambling to cook a meal for giant monsters with your friends to avert the apocalypse.
According to the game’s description on Steam, players will need to “chop ingredients, salt them, burn them–and then fire them into a kaiju’s jaws!” in a flexible tag-based cooking system. In a celebration of the new game, a bundle of Strange Scaffolding’s recent games is 30% off on Steam.
Co-Op Kaiju Horror Cooking is Strange Scaffolding’s next game after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown. The release date has been revealed to be later this month on July 29 2025, but players can sign up right now to playtest the game ahead of its release. The studio is known for its extremely strange games, starting with their first title, An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs.
If this weren’t enough, Strange Scaffolding has announced two new games in development: “Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?!”, a chaotic anime-inspired vehicular action game about driving into objects at high speed to rescue someone you accidentally transported into a dangerous medieval fantasy world, and “Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator”, a fast-paced stock market sim about buying, selling, and shorting stocks based on the simulated lives of adorable alien children. The devs have even teased that yet another title will be announced next week.
