Battlefield 6 completed a very successful Open Beta first weekend, reportedly being played by more than 5 million people. Now, the team at Battlefield Studios wants you to share your Destruction Receipts as Weekend 2 of the Battlefield 6 Open Beta kicks off later today.
Across the previous weekend, players were sharing their strategic (and not-so-strategic) destruction, and collectively destroyed nearly $70 billion of in-game equipment and real estate. Not bad for just a few days of chaos, right?
You blow things up. We add it up. And give you a receipt to back it up. Play the #Battlefield6 Open Beta, claim your #BF6Receipts, and see how you stack up! đź’Ą

Battlefield Studios is cleverly tracking these Destruction Receipts, with each receipt itemising destruction based on real-world figures down to the dollar, “providing a concrete record of every shattered wall, demolished tank, destroyed jet, and levelled building.”
Throughout the next phase of the Open Beta, players can continue to destroy as much as possible and will unlock an exclusive “Community Destruction Skin” for the M/60 if the total reaches $1 trillion in damage. To participate, you just need to post a 30-second destruction gameplay clip to X or Instagram by using #BF6Receipts and tagging @battlefield. Receipts are available at destruction.battlefield.com within 24 hours.
“Tactical Destruction” is a big part of Battlefield 6. To make sure that the damage could be properly tallied, the team at Battlefield Studios brought on Carlos Diemer, an architecture and engineering expert with more than 55 years of experience around the world (including in Cairo and Brooklyn, maps that feature here), to assess and help calculate the real-world cost of Battlefield 6’s in-game destruction. Cost of living? Forget about it. This is the cost of multiplayer madness!
Weekend 2 of the Battlefield 6 Open Beta kicks off tonight, Thursday, August 14, at 6pm AEST, running until Monday, August 18, at 6pm AEST, across all platforms. We got to be a part of the Battlefield 6 multiplayer reveal in L.A. just a couple of weeks ago, and having spent many hours breaking stuff within its countless multiplayer modes, we think it’s shaping up to be a shooter that brings the series back to the greatness it was once known for.
