Beta Testing

Posted on February 9, 2016

Listen to the show!

This week on the show, Luke, Archer, Meags and Tom come together to discuss the concept of beta testing! Used as a tool for game developers to test out how the game operates in a public space, they can be interesting to take part in, but is it actually a good tool for testing… or is it just marketing hype? It seems like every game release nowadays has a beta before it launches, so the crew discuss what we think about them, the ones that have worked and the ones that haven’t. Also on the show, Archer talks about his weekend up at RTX in Sydney, Meags stays on topic discussing the beta from The Division this past weekend, and Luke brings you the first video game reviews of 2016 with his verdict on the HD remake of Resident Evil Zero, and his latest obsession becomes quite clear when talking about the new and unique puzzle game on the scene called The Witness. It’s all here in another jam packed episode of your favourite gaming show!
