Getting Meta

Posted on February 20, 2018

Listen to the show!

This week on the show, it’s all about the concept of Meta in video games. Meta is defined as follows: “Metagaming is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself.” Luke, Elliot, Kolby and Sav are on board to talk about some of their favourite meta moments from video games, where they really thought outside the box and gave us memorable, unique experiences that wouldn’t be possible through any other medium. Also this week, Luke has been getting stuck into Bayonetta 1 + 2 on the Switch while Cam takes the action open world with his review of Dynasty Warriors 9. PLUS, the news of the week, as always! Don’t miss any of the fun!
