AA Gaming – The inbetweeners

Posted on August 16, 2018

Listen to the show!

This week on the show, we’re here to discuss the idea of AA Gaming. What is AA Gaming, you ask? Well, it’s not quite a AAA game with the big budget you’d expect from Mario, Halo or Uncharted… but then they don’t really classify as “indie” either, because they’re usually a bit bigger in scale and scope. AA Gaming sits somewhere in the middle, bridging the gap between the indie titles and the gigantic AAA games that we see hit the shelves all the time. Join Elliot, Cam, Rachel and Jakob as they talk all about what defines a AA game, when we see them and what impact that can have on the marketing and promotion of one of these titles. We also tackle mid-tier publishers, what Microsoft is doing in this space and how they affect the consumer. Also, Elliot has taken his daily dose of Joy and is ready to give his verdict on the creepy and topical We Happy Few! Don’t miss any of the action and don’t forget to check out the first half of this podcast to keep up to date!
