Re:Legend, a co-operative monster-raising RPG is in its tenth day of its Kickstarter campaign, aiming for a minimum of SGD $70,000 and already reaching almost SGD $196,000.  Developer Magnus Games has announced its collaboration with some industry alumni: Shota Nakama (founder of the Video Game Orchestra, and work on Final Fantasy XV), Yoshitaka Suzuki who has worked on Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy, and Falk Au Yeong who has experience in anime and film as well as video games.

Re:Legend composer

The soundtrack will be recorded by the Video Game Orchestra (VGO) who have worked on Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts and been nominated multiple times for Best Soundtrack.

Backers have already well and truly met Magnus Games’ expectations, with many stretch goals already hit.  Backers can gain access to a private beta test, limited edition plushies, art books, even appearing in-game as an NPC!  If further stretch goals are reached, we could even see ports to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.  The next goal as of writing is FULL VOICE ACTING.  In a farming game!

Check out the Kickstarter page and keep an eye on this one – it could be that sleeper hit we never knew we needed until Stardew Valley came along.
