Death Stranding offers a new glimpse of a horrifying beasty

A new Death Stranding trailer means new mysteries, more oddities, and more questions left unanswered. This time around it also means golden masks, Troy Baker, and quite an unsettling and horrifying beast.

The newest trailer for the upcoming Kojima release comes courtesy of Tokyo Game Show. Each time we get a look at Death Stranding we are left scratching our heads trying to figure out exactly what is going on. Although amongst all of the confusion is an undeniable curiosity to see more. You can watch the new trailer below.

Outside of the new beast we also discover that Troy Baker will be playing the role of a golden-masked antagonist. Baker is a prolific voice actor who has previously played the role of Joel in The Last of Us and Booker in Bioshock: Infinite, just to name a couple. It seems like Baker’s character and his mysterious golden mask wield some powers to conjure oily ghouls and potentially control the beast itself.

Unfortunately, like every new trailer for Death Stranding, we still don’t know enough about this game to settle our curiosity. Even a gameplay reveal still left us demanding more. But you better believe we will be hanging around and waiting to uncover any juicy details that emerge.
