The Destiny 2 “Worldwide Reveal” that had been previously teased by the game’s developers has now arrived. Along with it comes an official release date of September 8th, the ability to pre-order the game, and official confirmation of a PC version to coincide with the PS4 and Xbox One releases.

We also know, thanks to the game’s pre-order page, that Destiny 2 will be arriving to PC (alongside PS4 and Xbox One) this time around. This is fantastic news for those of us who prefer shooters with a mouse, particularly after the disappointment of the original game never making its way to the PC. Whilst rumours had previously suggested a PC version was in the pipeline, this is the first official confirmation.
It’s also the first official confirmation of a September 8th release date, which we previously only new about thanks to a leaked poster.
