Nintendo of America have announced via their Twitter that mobile runner Super Mario Run will be available on Android devices from March 23rd.

Despite a pretty harsh pay-wall after the first couple of levels, Super Mario Run has proven to be a success for Nintendo as they venture further into the mobile gaming space. The plan was always to release on iOS first , as confirmed by Miyamoto due to “the stability of the iOS platform.”
