For those of you who are yet pick up Dishonored 2, some good news is coming your way. The first three levels of Dishonored 2 will be free to play this weekend, Bethesda have announced. The free trial is heading to almost all current generation platforms – PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and will be downloadable through the PSN Store, Xbox Marketplace or Steam.
Dishonored 2 was released to great acclaim by audiences and critics alike, including here at Checkpoint in our review where we claimed that the game’s developers “have mastered the balancing act of choice and consequence in this game to result in a flexibility of play that surpasses so many other titles. I invite you to experience a world where the lore and potential chaos are palpable, and make your time in it all the more immersive.”
All progress from the free trial will be carried over if you decide to purchase the game, so we advise you really dig deep in those first three levels to get the most out of your experience before you decide to dive in.
The free trial will be available from April 7th here in Australia, April 6th for other regions of the world.
