Bethesda have recently announced that their fantasy MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), will be free to play for a week. Starting April 11 at 10:00 am EDT (April 12 at 12.00 am AEST) players will be able to explore the lands of Tamriel, uninhibited for the week.
Bethesda have specified that:
This isn’t the first time ESO has had a free to play period, with the game opening its doors to players back in November of last year for their Free Weekend. For players who invested in the Free Weekend last year, all your progress will still be saved for this latest event.
The Elder Scrolls Online Free Week will be available on Steam (PC & MAC), Xbox One and PS4. For those who still aren’t sold on trying out the game, be sure to check out our feature of ESO 2 years on, or read up on the game’s latest expansion: Morrowind.
