Either info regarding the new Assassin’s Creed is being leaked on purpose or Ubisoft are just terrible at keeping their work under secrecy. It seems more material regarding the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game has been leaked.
Earlier this month we had a glimpse of what seemed to be the protagonist of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game, although it didn’t reveal as much as we’d hoped. We now have the chance to see clearly what our newest assassin will look like and we even have a name.
Introducing the assassin, Ba Yek!
The image was said to have first appeared on the Le Verità dell’Animus Facebook page before hitting the Assassin’s Creed sub-reddit and eventually streaming off to social media.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag director Ashraf Ismail took to Twitter to respond to the leaked image saying “Nice t-shirt.” Ismail may also be the Director of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game as he is listed as a director for an unannounced Ubisoft project.
The new Assassin’s Creed game is said to be released sometime by March 2018 since Ubisoft have confirmed it will be available during the fiscal year. Whether it will be called Assassins Creed: Origins, Assassins Creed: Empire or anything else is still yet to be confirmed.
