Hideo Kojima’s Zone of the Enders is about to hit PS4

Sony and Konami have announced that Hideo Kojima’s Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner is about to be remastered for the PS4 and will feature PSVR support! Exciting times. Does this mean that Konami and Hideo have patched things up?

The first Zone of the Enders is notable partly because it included a demo of Metal Gear Solid 2. Heck even though I’m not into Mech battles I almost bought it just for that. In fact, a close look at posters in Metal Gear Solid games will reveal the odd Zone of the Enders feature.

This is a remaster of the sequel and the trailer does look very cool… not at all Metal Gear Solid Rex  like.

Hideo Kojima was producer of the HD releases for the Playstation 3 a few years ago. But subsequently has left Konami, and apparently is very busy so unfortunately there is no Hideo influence in this particular reboot.

Either way though, Zone of the Enders: the 2nd Run was well received critically upon its original release. The PSVR is arguably a little short when it comes to choice, so this release might fit in nicely.
