Announced back in June of this year was an unexpected entry into the Monster Hunter series, Monster: Hunter World. What got fans the most excited about this announcement was that the game will launch simultaneously worldwide, with Capcom clearly honouring the success that the series was seeing in western audiences.
We now know when that worldwide launch is happening thanks to Sony’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS). Monster Hunter: World will arrive January 26, 2018 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a PC version arriving at a currently undisclosed later date.

The game will also receive a Digital Deluxe Edition and a Collectors Edition, currently only announced for NA regions. A Monster Hunter: World themed PS4 Pro is also set to release in Japan.
