Pokkén Tournament DX is one of the bigger games currently available on the Nintendo Switch. It’s had mixed reviews since release although there is definitely a solid fan base who are still enjoying this Pokémon / Tekken hybrid. That being said, there are some exciting new updates making their way to Pokkén Tournament DX  to improve and enhance gameplay and features already present in the game.

An upcoming patch will bring about a new Online Team Battle feature which means you’ll be able to team up with friends online to battle against other opponents. You’ll be able to pick three Pokémon each to battle with but the battle style is not yet clear.

New special titles will also be made available to players shortly after the patch through Offical Group Matches. Details about how these will be achieved are still to be clarified.

A recording feature is also coming to the Pokémon free training mode for the more competitive and hardcore players. To review and improve your battle ability you’ll be able to control the opposing Pokémon and record its movements and play back your own to review and improved you competitive gameplay!

Not to mention there are more enhanced experiences and adjustments in development which will continue making their way to Pokkén Tournament DX. It’s unclear what those details are but to stay up to date with the upcoming improvements, information will be released on the offical website.
