EVO 2018 lineup of games announced

The lineup for the 2018 EVO fighting game tournament has been revealed via a Twitch stream by co-founder Joey “MrWizard” Cuellar. The lineup includes fan-favourites as well as some new releases to test the skills of competitors, including Dragonball FighterZ and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. Interestingly, the latest BlazBlue doesn’t release in the west until June, which gives fighters barely any time to get familiar with the new title. Evo 2018 will take place on the 3rd – 5th of August at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

The full lineup of games featured at EVO 2018 are:

• Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition
• Tekken 7
• Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
• Super Smash Bros. Melee
• BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
• Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2
• Injustice 2
• Dragon Ball FighterZ

The 5 games chosen for the finals of EVO 2018 are Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition.
