For the past three years Bethesda has kicked off the start of E3 with their showcase/conference on the Sunday night, the day before every other company. This year will be no different, with Bethesda Softworks’ annual pre-E3 2018 showcase, otherwise known as BE3, taking place on Sunday June 10th at 6:30 PM PT. Other company’s conferences will be held on the three days following.
This date was announced in an adorable paper craft video, staring all of Bethesda’s main IP heroes and villains coming together for the event.
The event will be open to the industry, public and the media. This is on top of being live streamed on Twitch, Youtube, Twitter and Facebook for all to see. Fans will be able to register for a chance to attend the event in person soon, with more details set to be released in the near future.
As to what will be shown at the showcase, Bethesda has not given any clues. Last year they brought their most popular titles to VR, with DOOM and Fallout 4 getting VR modes across PS4 and PC.
Perhaps this year we will see some new content from the studio, or maybe a new DOOM game. Either way just knowing that the showcase is going ahead is enough to know, as it tells us that Bethesda has something they wish to show us. Personally, I can’t wait.
