You’d be forgiven if you believed the open-world zombie action game Days Gone was coming to consoles in 2018. Presenting biker protagonist Deacon St. John, who bares a striking resemblance to actor Sam Witwer, at E3 2016 and again at E3 2017 it felt like the title was already barreling into our consoles this year.
Hit the brakes though, our whatever you do on a motorbike, because recently someone spotted on the games PlayStation page that the release date had been updated to 2019. While Days Gone did not previously have an exact release date it is clear that it is releasing later than originally planned after a Sony spokesperson for the development studio, Bend Studio, made a statement to US gamer.
Delays are always a pity and no one is more disappointed then our very own Luke that he won’t play Days Gone this year. Thankfully though PlayStation has a couple of other big ticket exclusive titles heading its way this year with God of War not far off and Spider-man later this year. Hopefully we’ll get our hands on the ‘zombie’s moving like water’ experience without any further set backs, I don’t think Luke’s heart could take another delay.
