If you’re as excited as we are here at Checkpoint for the upcoming God of War then you’re in luck. Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia are inviting fans of the game series to become fully immersed in its exciting and brutal world by crafting their very own God of War axe!

In celebration of the highly anticipated arrival of PlayStation 4 exclusive God of War, releasing April 20th, PlayStation Australia has teamed up with the renowned blacksmith school at Eveleigh Works, to offer consumers a very unique God of War inspired axe-making master-class.

In the new God of War story, the Leviathan Axe is a brutal and powerful magic weapon as well as a versatile tool for exploration. Utilised by Kratos as he embarks on an epic and emotional journey into the Norse wild with his son, Atreus you’ll learn not only about the weapon you’re crafting during your master-class with Eveleigh Works but you’ll be taken a journey to learn about Norse Blacksmithing techniques and history, and how these skills are used or have evolved over time.

Eveleigh Works will be offering consumers the opportunity to partake in this exclusive workshop, which will not only give them a lesson in the foundation skills of one of the world’s oldest trades, but also the chance to cast their very own ornamental Leviathan Axe during this one of a kind hands-on workshop.

Tickets for this amazing opportunity are available from 17th April until sold out and can be purchased here
