Kicking off E3 this year is Electronic Arts (EA). The publisher started their press conference with some immediate footage of Battlefield V to get fans excited. The new multiplayer trailer can be seen below with players able to jump in and experience the game on October 19 this year. Those who pre-order will also gain access to an open beta later in the year.
Battlefield V will of course be developed by DICE and published by EA. Arriving to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One, players will be able to re-experience the setting of World War II. Of course, the game isn’t without any controversy with some gamers not appreciating the focus on female soldiers.
The other big news to come out of the press conference was confirmation of a Battle Royale mode for the game. It was something rumoured for quite some time but official confirmation is still nice. Unfortunately we didn’t see anything from the Battle Royale mode, nor do we know any new information about the game such as how many players per match. This will be a wait and see situation with further details promised to arrive soon.
