The epitome of hard as nails games, Dark Souls, in all its trilogy glory will be coming to the Xbox One and PS4 in one neat little package, aptly dubbed Dark Souls Trilogy.
Japan may have got a very, VERY, swanky version of the Dark Souls Trilogy back in May (pictured below), at an eye-watering $450US. Although thankfully Bandai Namco is going easier on the wallet for a worldwide release. The Dark Souls Trilogy will have a physical release that will be available in limited quantities and will retail for $80US. But for that price you get Dark Souls Remastered and Artorias of the Abyss, Dark Souls II – Scholar of the First Sin, Crown of the Sunken King and Crown of the Old Iron King, as well as Dark Souls III – The Fire Fades Edition, Ashes of Ariandel and the Ringed City.
There is no word if there is any remastering goodness that will come to Dark Souls II or III. But, if the Japanese release is anything to go by, you can expect 4k/60FPS on the Xbox One X or PS4 pro or 1080p/30fps on the OG Xbox One and PS4. The Dark Souls Trilogy is slated for an October 19th release, the same day as Dark Souls Remastered on the Switch, in case you wanted to break a full console rather than just a controller.
