Luke Lancaster, PAX Australia’s content manager has said “The rest of the world should fidget uncomfortably, because the work we see every year from Aussie and New Zealand developers is compelling beyond compare. 2018’s Indie Showcase winners are no different, and PAX is incredibly proud to share these six games with everyone come October.”
The six winners were chosen from a huge array of submissions by an elite panel of industry veterans, and will join the ranks of previous Showcase winners such as Hollow Knight, Hacknet and Objects in Space. This year’s PAX Aus 2018 Indie Showcase will be featured in PAX Rising, an area on the exhibition floor dedicated to indie games. The PAX Rising Indie Showcase is simply a sample of some the best indie games our local industry has to offer, and as fans of the indie gaming scene here at Checkpoint we can’t suggest enough that you take the time to check out the PAX Rising section of the exhibition floor. PAX Australia 2018 runs from October 26 – 28 in Melbourne at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
