Sony has announced two new games coming to PSVR with Everybody’s Golf VR, and a new adventure game from the master of the Souls’ series, Hidetaka Miyazaki called Déraciné .
Checkpoint isn’t a stranger to Everybody’s Golf, with Nat singing its praises a year ago, and its come back now with Everybody’s Golf VR. The information released is somewhat sparse, but the main feature they are adding to Everybody’s Golf is the ability to swing away using your PlayStation Move Controllers or your Dual Shock, which is definitely not going to end in Everybody’s Broken TV’s.
With promise of new courses, and the ability to properly scout the fairway through your own perspective, Everybody’s Golf VR is sure to help scratch your golfing VR itch. If Everybody’s Golf is Your Golf, keep your eye’s peeled for more information that is promised “soon” with the game coming “next year”.
Second on the list is a mystery game from the mind who brought us the Souls’ series. The PSVR exclusive Déraciné, which is due to be released on the 6th of November, and can be pre-ordered now from the PlayStation Store. Sure to be the Dark Souls of exploration Games, Déraciné stick you in the role of an invisible faerie who appears in secluded boarding school, where an ageing headmaster and his six students live.
The player gets to explore the world while time stands still and have the mystery of Déraciné unfold before them. An interesting concept for sure, but we will have to wait a few months to see if it is as good in execution. If Déraciné seems like an interesting game to you, hopefully, it will live up to the intrigue that it has put across in its announcement over at the PlayStation blog.
