We all eagerly awaited further news for the new game set within the Dragon Ball Universe when it was first announced earlier this year, now we finally have a title and release date.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is the official title for this new game, and sets to have players embark on a story set to the life events of Goku. You can watch the trailer below.
Whilst this is awesome, it is surprising, as the RPG element led me to believe we might be getting a game where you create your own character to level up and define within the infamous universe, not a retread of Goku’s storyline which we have played multiple times in other games.
I am still excited for this and we saw what we can assume is gameplay of Goku battling Frieza for the title which seems to have more of a Xenoverse style rather than FighterZ, but we are yet to see how the RPG element comes into play.
The title has no solid release date but is slated to be released in early 2020.
