Get ready Pokémon trainers, the big unit that is Armored Mewtwo is finally coming to Pokémon GO. They will be the next upcoming raid boss for the game and can be encountered in five star raids. “Harness the power of Armored Mewtwo” Pokémon GO’s press release teases.
Along with the chance to fight and possibly obtain this sweet beast there will also be Mewtwo related avatar items available during the limited time event. “Do you consider yourself a Mewtwo Trainer? Show off your prowess for power and aesthetics with some stylish new items coming to the Style Shop!” The press release states.
Armored Mewtwo can be seen above from the Indigo League anime. This will be the first time in a while trainers will see the popular psychic Pokémon as they makes make their return. As for when trainers can confront this Pokémon, they’ll have to be somewhat quick, with the limited time event occurring from the 10th of July til the 31st.
There you have it trainers, get ready to reunite with this great beast in a whole new way. After all, it’s still a bit of a wait until Sword & Shield arrive on Switch.
