Cyberpunk 2077 is hopefully releasing in the next few weeks and the game is already being delivered early. A handful of lucky players have already got their hands on the game and are leaking gameplay for everyone to see.
The first spotted copy in the wild was an image of the physical PlayStation 4 game on the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit. At first, nobody really believed the authenticity of the copy. However, soon after, a 20-minute long gameplay video, raw and unedited, confirmed that the time is nigh.
The footage has been streamed through YouTube, Google Drive, and every media file sharing site you can think of. Several mirrors have been taken down for obvious reasons. Although, a quick web search will easily find what you seek.
The game’s main menu and interface were featured. The player started a new game and showcased some of the character creation in action, eventually picking the Nomad lifestyle. The video moved between both first and third-person gameplay and how that works in-game. There is some vehicle gameplay in the middle of the desert, as the Nomad path has indicated in previous videos.
Obviously, this looks nowhere near as good as the official footage that has been put out by the developer in their Night Wire features. It is also lacking the evident Day One patch that will be included on launch day. With all this in mind and it being played on the older hardware of the PlayStation 4, it isn’t the best looking game we expected… but it’s still finally nearly here.
Only a few days ago, we got an official sneak-peak of some Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. CD Projekt Red shared the Night Wire: Episode 5 featuring Keanu Reaves as Johnny Silverhand, one of the main secondary characters of the story. If you’re interested in seeing a 30-minute deep-dive into the most fascinating character in the game, check it out here.
Either way, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone “gold”, is finally out in the wild, and is looking to actually launch on 10 December 2020. Stay tuned to our website, social media, and listen to our podcast and radio show to here our review and thoughts when Cyberpunk 2077 drops.
