Look to the sky Zelda fans! The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 has been teased once again at E3. After a clever slide of hand, Nintendo ended the presentation with a fresh look at the sequel to the fan-favourite Nintendo Switch launch title. It’s been two years since we saw anything about the sequel and it’s awesome to see that it’s already looking like it’s going to be just as good.
The developers are aiming to have the game ready for a 2022 release so there is still a bit of a wait but as Nintendo fans know, we will receive updates when there’s more information to be known.
The trailer showcases a wealth of new things coming such as new abilities, weapons, enemies and a horrifying new villain that’s once again threatening the land of Hyrule. All that and also there are now huge floating isles that Link can explore on his new journey. It’s going to be interesting seeing how the new heights affect the game we’ve come to know.
I’m actually glad this is a ways away because it gives me some more time to 100% the first game.
