Halo Infinite has been subject to a lot of discussion. After originally being announced as a launch title for the Xbox Series X, some “okay” looking gameplay and some internal struggles due to COVID led to the game being delayed.
Now, we know it’s definitely on track for a Holiday 2021 release – though no specific date has been given just yet.
During the presentation this morning, Halo Infinite was clearly showcased as two parts that make a whole. The “Epic Campaign” sees Master Chief going on a brand new adventure, while the multiplayer will be free to play for everybody.
The multiplayer itself looks to be a lot of fun, with the trademark slick action that Halo’s multiplayer has always been known for. With the game finally on track for its release later this year, we’re still holding out for more details on what we can truly expect from the campaign. But hopefully, Halo fans will be pleased with this update.
Halo Infinite is set to release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC during Holiday 2021 (so, we’re tipping November).
