Do you have a hankering for more zombie content? You’re in luck! Revealed during IGN Expo, an enhanced version of World War Z, titled World War Z: Aftermath, is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with 4k/60FPS support via forward compatibility for PS5, Xbox Series X|S.

Looking to build upon the frantic co-op action of the original World War Z, World War Z: Aftermath will also feature a new Horde XL mode exclusively for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.
World War Z: Aftermath has no set release date as of yet, simply slated for “later this year”. Owners of World War Z can upgrade to the new version for a fee, with fully upgraded PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions coming in 2022 free of charge for existing owners.
