Humble Games shows a montage of indie delights hitting Game Pass day one

It’s officially Gamescom season and this year Xbox helped to kick off the festivities. Whilst there were no massive or surprising reveals, one highlight for me was a montage of 10 upcoming indie games being published by the Humble Games label, all of which are hitting Xbox Game Pass on day one. Amongst the montage included a 2D adventure game, multiplayer arcade brawling, a gorgeous platformer and so much more. Check it out below.

The full list of games shown off during the video includes Archvale, Bushiden, Chinatown Detective Agency, Dodgeball Academia, Flynn: Son of Crimson, Midnight Fight Express, Next Space Rebels, Signalis, Unpacking, and Unsighted. This is the first time I’ve personally seen many of these games, but it’s hard not to get excited for each and every one. Unpacking is a title we have seen before and are super excited to see one again. After playing this one at PAX Aus 2019, we can say firsthand that there’s some charm and tranquillity to this cosy experience.

The partnership between Humble and Game Pass is an interesting one but one I support wholeheartedly. It’s very easy for smaller releases like these to slip by unnoticed, so having them on an accessible platform like Game Pass means that hopefully more people will get to experience them. Humble themselves are famous for creating their own affordable indie game distribution service, so in many ways this partnership feels a bit like game respecting game. No firm release dates have been announced as of yet. You can also learn more about these titles on the Humble Games website. Which game are you most excited for?
