Moonglow Bay looks to be quite the catch in October

Gamescom 2021‘s Future Games Show has shown off a lot of cool upcoming stuff, and as always, the big and bombastic action trailers get the lion’s share of the hype. But here’s a title that might appeal to the gamers out there who prefer their games on the chill side. Take a look at Moonglow Bay by Bunnyhug, a slice-of-life fishing game about honing your skills as an angler and improving your community and relationships.

The premise looks to be ‘Animal Crossing’s fishing and museum gameplay with the graphics from Minecraft’ but boy does it look cute. The setting is laced with snow and ice, meaning that as well as fishing on the shore and on a boat, you can also fish through the ice. You can presumably contribute to the museum featured in this trailer, but it’s not shown whether or not you can customise your house. Either way it’s giving off majorly chill vibes, so anyone who’s been looking for their next unwind-after-a-long-day game may want to keep an eye on this one.

Moonglow Bay will launch on October 7th for Xbox consoles and PC.
