Ubisoft has revealed that players will have the chance to strap in and play Riders Republic a full week ahead of launch, with progress carrying over to the full release.
The worldwide time-limited Trial Week runs from October 21st to October 27th across all platforms, and will give you the chance to shred through four hours of the game before its official launch. It’s been confirmed that progression during time-limited Trial Week will carry over to any edition of the game, so you can pick up right where you left off at launch.
On top of that, you’re invited to participate in the “Mad Challenge”: a multiplayer contest that offers players a chance to win rewards. First you’ll need to finish the onboarding and reach 20 stars to unlock the ShackDaddy’s ‘Exclusive Multiplayer Contest’ to access the mass race. If you place in the top 10 in a mass race, you will be entered in a random draw, where one player will win a custom Canyon x Riders Republic bike and a Gold Edition of Riders Republic. Additional winners will also receive a Gold Edition of Riders Republic. To sign up for the Mad Challenge, visit the website here.
A gigantic open world extreme sports playground, eager fans have already had the opportunity to try out Riders Republic in a previous open beta. Ubisoft are clearly keen to get the game into the hands of players so that they can see what the fuss is all about.
And it’s smart, too. Riders Republic is really one of those games where the spirit isn’t quite captured from watching gameplay footage. When I tried the beta last month, I found myself instantly addicted; a large open world to explore, lots of variety, mucking around with my mates and taking part in 64 player mass races felt suitably epic, and the full game promises all of that action and more.
Riders Republic is launching on October 28 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, as well as Windows PC through the Ubisoft Connect PC and the Epic Games Store.
