Borderlands Tiny Tina DLC adventure gets stand-alone release

Posted on November 12, 2021

In exciting news for Borderlands fans, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure has just been released on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation®5 via backwards compatibility on, and on PC.

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep released back in 2013 as an add-on DLC quest for Borderlands 2, and was quite popular at the time, with a strong combination of fun gameplay and unique storytelling. In the game, you play as Tiny Tina in her inaugural story as she takes on the role of Bunker Master in a thrilling game of “Bunkers and Badasses.” Much like the imagination you’d expect from a player in Dungeons & Dragons, you enter an epic quest with castles, dungeons and magical beasts.

“Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep is one of the most important pieces of content Gearbox has ever imagined,” said Randy Pitchford, Executive Producer on Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. “With the original Dragon’s Keep, not only did we introduce an entirely new genre into the critically acclaimed Borderlands series, we created and developed some of Gearbox’s most impressive gameplay and storytelling. I am thrilled for Tiny Tina’s original adventure to be readily available for a new generation of players, and also for long-time fans to come back to where the story started and once-again experience the magic that inspired Wonderlands.”

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure is available now, for $14.95 AUD or $15.95 NZD – but, it’s also free on the Epic Games Store on PC until November 16th, so jump on it now for a great freebie and a chance to play the stand-alone adventure ahead of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands next year.

It looks like a lot of fun, and well worth a play for Borderlands fans everywhere. Don’t forget, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a new fantasy-fuelled adventure from the Borderlands universe launching on March 25, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC.
