If you somehow missed it thus far on Game Pass and last Pride Month, Tell Me Why is free…again!
The adventure followed a similar vein from developer DON’T NOD’s beloved Life is Strange: telling its story through serialised chapters. Created in collaboration with Xbox and GLAAD, it was also the first AAA video game to feature a trans protagonist. Tell Me Why is all about the protagonist Tyler returning to his childhood hometown with his sister Alyson. Ahead of them is the unpacking of trauma and very troubled childhood that shaped them into the people they are today. Tyler is the trans character, played by trans male voice actor August Aiden Black. We praised its depiction of the community and its themes at the time.
Considering that, I can’t think of a better game to be utilised for Pride Month. Tell Me Why is free throughout Pride Month for the second year running. You can grab it on Xbox or PC via Steam.
Additionally, the Xbox Publishing team are donating US $25,000 to both Trans Lifeline and Transgender Law Center. Both of these services are not-for-profits, providing resources and crisis support to trans U.S. residents.
