The Callisto Protocol is a third person survival horror adventure from the original developers of cult classic Dead Space, and today at PlayStation’s State of Play we got to see some gameplay and even a release date. The game will be launching on December 2, 2022.
The gameplay looks disgusting in the best way, with lots of horror elements that will look familiar in style to anybody who played Dead Space back in the day. Check it out.
News recently came out that The Callisto Protocol will no longer be a part of the “PUBG universe”, which…. seems to make more sense, really. We’re still not sure how sci-fi horror was going to tie in with the once-popular battle royale game, but the trailer shown today certainly has us intrigued at the kind of nasties we can expect to encounter when the game launches.
The Callisto Protocol is releasing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on December 2, 2022.
