Cult of the Lamb, the deceptively adorable roguelike that has swept the indie scene, has sold over 1 million copies in its first 7 days of release, making it an instant hit. The PC version of the game currently has a Metacritic score of 82%, with critics praising its humorous concept and addictive gameplay loop. With such a cute graphical style paired with such a dark world, who wouldn’t want to see what all the fuss is about?
Despite its high praise, it seems like some versions of the game need patching. Players on console and some PC versions of the game are reporting that their time with the game has suffered from glitches and bugs that are hindering progress.
In a statement shared on Twitter, the devs said “We are eternally grateful for your devotion and our team is committed to improving the game with tweaks, fixes and free major content updates.”
It’s always fantastic to see Australian-based developers getting the recognition they deserve! Cult of the Lamb is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PS4, and PS5. It was released on August 11, 2022.
