Originally slated to come out in October, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the tactical superhero adventure from Firaxis has been delayed. With the need for more development time cited in the announcement tweet that can be read below, this is a bit to be expected.
While Marvel’s Midnight Suns currently do not have a release date. It’s now expected by the end of the current fiscal year (ending March 2023). Though perhaps most curious is it will now be a staggered release. The PC and current-gen console versions will debut first, while the old-gen and Nintendo Switch launches are expected later.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a joint effort between 2K and XCOM and Civilisation team Firaxis. With an already stacked release period in October, this at the very least can potentially give more time for the tactical superhero game to shine. Thankfully, other prolific tactical adventures await us this year. Nintendo and Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope releases on October 20.
